Okay, that’s less of a hint and more of a giveaway, but whatevs.
We saw OK Go!
It was super awesome. It was also super loud (we’re pretty much concert newbs so we didn’t bring earplugs), so we just stood out in the hallway—which gave us as good a view as any of the band given the number of people at the venue—and danced and sang along with the songs we knew.
I was surprised that they played Here It Goes Again and Get Over It, since both of those songs are older, but they did! They also played I Won’t Let You Down near the very end, which was pretty much the one song I was waiting for the whole night.
There were a few other songs that they played which I’d never heard but liked, so those will likely be my daily downloads for the next few days.

HOLY CRAP, I hate tests. This one wasn’t bad—meaning that it wasn’t hard—but it was super long and I wasn’t able to finish in the allotted 50 minutes. But most other students weren’t able to finish either, so hopefully our professor will have some mercy on us.
Now to play HALF LIFE, bitches. I love me some Half Life.

Turns out everyone in Dr. Chen’s class got dropped from it the night before the class started, so we spent about 15 minutes of today’s class just being confused over why we’d all suddenly get dropped. More on this riveting story as it develops.

So today was sufficiently awful.
But you know what made it better? The news that we LANDED ON A FREAKING COMET.
Isn’t that the most ridiculously cool thing? I, for one, didn’t even know we had plans to land on a comet, let alone that Rosetta was launched way back in 2004. I was in high school then!
It’s just so sci-fi, isn’t it? I guess now we have our backup plan ready for when global warming gets out of control even more so than it is. Comet ice mining will solve the problem ONCE AND FOR ALL!
