Perfect
Heyyyyyy, I got another perfect card in Out of the Park!

Freaking Sandy Koufax, nice. Maybe this additional perfect card will help me do better in the Perfect League.
Edit: Nope.
Edit 2: Oh god, Koufax is getting destroyed
Edit 3: Hahaha, back to the Diamond League I go
Perfect
I’m not a very lucky person, but I am damn lucky when it comes to pulling perfect cards in Out of the Park. I don’t remember when I got OOTP 20 (I had OOTP 18 first; that’s the one I used for my fake Canadian League Baseball simulation), but I looked it up and found that I got my first perfect card (Scherzer) on December 14th of last year. Since then, I’ve gotten and additional five perfect cards.
Here are my dudes:
I’m pretty proud of my little perfect card collection, not gonna lie.
(Especially Scherzer.)
Woah!
I got a perfect Max Scherzer card in one of my Perfect Team card packs.
Nice.
Sorry, Scherzer is my favorite pitcher.
Fakeball Postseason Coverage 2019 OMFG
So I’m an impatient bastard and I want my Canadian Baseball League World Series results NOW.
Thus, rather than simulate day-by-day (like I’ve been doing the whole semester), I just did everything today so that it was all done and we know who won the World Series!
So LET’S LOOK AT THE RESULTS!
[Edit: I’m uploading this blog from SeaTac, actually, and I just realized that I forgot to save the related images on my flash drive. So since I can’t remember the details off the top of my head, y’all are going to have to wait until I get back to Calgary for the rest of this blog. Stay tuned! This will be updated soon. Sorry!]
Canadian League Baseball: Week 25 Summary
The (fake) baseball season (and the real one too, I guess) officially ended today! Here are the final standings going into the playoffs:
Here are the batting/pitching leaders:
WOO!
Canadian League Baseball: Week 24 Summary
The Canadian League leaders have been determined! Still waiting on a few in the National League, though.
All the simulation pitchers are getting hurt, so it’s probably a good thing the season is almost over.
Canadian League Baseball: Week 23 Summary
PLAYOFFS APPROACHETH
TEAMS ARE GETTING ELIMINATED FROM CONTENTION
HEARTS ARE BEING BROKEN AS WE SPEAK
Ahem.
Also, Simulation Jose Reyes got his 2,000th hit.
Canadian League Baseball: Week 22 Summary
We’re starting to see some teams eliminated from contention! It’s sad. Poor Vancouver. Hamilton’s killing it, though.
Canadian League Baseball: Week 22 Summary
OH GOD FAKEBALL
That is all.
Canadian League Baseball: Week 21 Summary
We’re getting down to the end of the season!
There have been like seven squabbles this past week, haha. Lots of suspensions. But Simulation Robinson Cano got his 300th hit, so that’s neato.
Canadian League Baseball: Week 20 Summary
More fakin’ with the baseball type stuff. WOO!
Canadian League Baseball: Week 19 Summary
Now we’re starting to see a little more separation.
Also, Simulation Cespedes is hurt again. KEEP HIM OFF THE RANCH
Canadian League Baseball: Week 18 Summary
Simulation Cespedes’ foot is broken, which is the pinnacle of this game being a fantastically realistic simulation of actual baseball action. Simulation Nimmo got Rookie of the Month for July, though, so that’s cool!
Canadian League Baseball: Week 17 Summary
BALLIN’.
The Gold and the Blues are having a rough time of things. Too cold and too rainy, respectively, I guess.
Canadian League Baseball: Week 16 Summary
BASEBALLING UPDATE!!!!1!11one
They’re all still relatively close, given how deep we are into the season. It’s probably because the talent is so equally spread out, as opposed to the freaking Yankees having everyone.
More Baseball, Sorry
So I bought Out of the Park 20 because it was on sale and now I’m screwed because now I’m addicted to the baseball card game that’s built into that version and oh god I’m going to have to alternate between OOTP 18 for my Canadian simulation and OOTP 20 for cards and life is all baseball all the time and oh god
Canadian League Baseball: Week 15 Summary
Things are starting to separate a liiiiiittle bit more.
Simulation Scherzer is out for the season with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and I am Simulation Sad.
Canadian League Baseball: Week 14 Summary
Eventful week!
Simulation Curtis Granderson got his 300th home run.
Simulation Jake Arrieta and Simulation Rich Hill both pitched complete game shutouts.
The All-Star Game happened! The National League beat the Canadian League 5-3.
Canadian League Baseball: Week 13 Summary
I had seven consecutive sub-14-minute miles on my walk today.
I AM MADE OF SPEED
Here is baseball.
Hahaha, what the hell, Victoria?
And Simulation Cespedes is hurt. Because of course he is.
Canadian League Baseball: Week 12 Summary
Vroom! Calgary’s still holding on.
Canadian League Baseball: Week 11 Summary
More fake ballin’, yo.
The NL West has a tight race right now. Poor Expos, though, haha.
Canadian League Baseball: Week 10 Summary
We’re ten weeks into the (fake) season! Here’s what’s what:
Simulation Adrian Gonzalez got his 2,000th hit, so that’s kinda cool.
Simulation Matz is hurt, though, so that’s not cool at all. ALL THE SIMULATED METS PLAYERS ARE HURT WHAT THE FREAKING CRAPPLES
Canadian League Baseball: Week 9 Summary
FAKEBALL IS HERE ON SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAYS!!!!
(Sorry, I’m hyper)
Here’s the standings after nine weeks:
It’s going to be interesting to see if there’s less separation between the team performances than there was in real life in 2017 due to the fact that the super talented players are more spread out across all the teams instead of with the teams with the most money. We’ll see!
Canadian League Baseball: Week 8 Summary
Here are the standings at week 8. Simulation Cespedes is hurt and Simulation Chase Utley hit for the cycle, so y’know, that’s great.
Canadian League Baseball: Week 7 Summary
Here are the standings at week 7! We’re starting to see a little bit of separation now.
Poor Yukon and Yellowknife. It’s too cold up there for baseball, haha.
