KABOOM!

Okay…this is my tentative schedule for next semester (very tentative. It shouldn’t even freakin’ be):

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY
1. Statistics 251: 8:30-9:20
2. Biology 201: 9:30-10:20
3. English 292 (Creative Writing: Fiction): 10:30-11:20
4. English 208 (Personal and Exploratory Writing): 11:30-12:20
5. Psychology 111 (Abnormal Psych): 12:30-1:20
6. Core 166 (Sacred Journey): 1:30-2:20

This is subject to change. And it will…just watch.

Sadness is no more marching band

Man, now I need to find a new outlet for my craziness, dorkiness, and insanity.

Also, now what am I supposed to blow??

Physics

Wasn’t it around this same time last year that all us people who were in physics were trying desperately to finish our chairs?

Those damn chairs…

I dug the picture of mine out of my butt last night. It was supposed to be cheese, but in retrospect, it looks more like The Cheat.

Just ahead of the curve!!

“Just ahead of the curve!!” has nothing to do with anything!!

It’s double exclamation point day!!

Okay, that’s done. Anyway, I’m having trouble typing cause my butt hurts. Not that I type with my butt or anything.

More marching today. At least we didn’t have to sit in the end-zone (is that what it’s called?) like we did at WSU.

Tippytap.

WSU!

Huttah!

The band marched “Queen” halftime at WSU today! We were pretty good. I think. Now I know that I can march with very shaky knees. And while suppressing my impulse to vomit.

Hehe.

Philosophy in English

…well, not really. But it was a fun discussion.

In English, we spent most of our time trying to figure out why the expression is “horse shit” or “bull shit” and not something with more substance…like, for instance, “whale shit”.

Makes sense, doesn’t it? I think I’ll use “that’s w.s.!” a lot more often.

Hooray!

I love my dorm room. That’s all I have to say.

Oy! Math!

Today’s schedule is the same as Monday’s, except add in Math 143 from 11:30AM-12:20PM. I really have to get my butt moving to make it to the Kibbie Dome. Plus it’s math. Bleh.

Also, why don’t people wear color around here? Everything’s jeans, jeans, jeans! They’re not THAT comfortable. And shirts with brand names scrawled across the front! INDIVIDUALITY, people! You are not a billboard (or…are you? That would explain that board-like shape…).

Okay, I’m done.

Welcome to college. Now don’t screw up (part 2)

Day 2! Tuesday’s and Thursday’s schedules:

~ Theatre 100 (11:00AM-12:20PM)
~ Marching Band (12:30PM-1:20PM)
~ English 102 (2:00PM-3:15PM)

I like this schedule. Theatre is fun, MB is fun, and English rocks the socks right off of a fox.

Tomorrow’s my busy day, though. With math. Evil, evil math.

Welcome to college. Now don’t screw up.

Day 1! Here’s my schedule for today:

~ Psychology 101 (10:30AM-11:20AM)
~ Marching Band (12:30PM-1:20PM)
~ The Sacred Journey (1:30PM-2:20PM)
~ Theatre 105 (3:00PM-4:20PM)

Four classes…not too bad. I’m going to love psychology and marching band and theatre…I’ll try to get through TSJ…I just don’t find religion all that interesting…

Oh well. More psychology credits!

Last day of summer (sorta)

Why, hello!

iF YOU TYPE LIKE THIS, IN ALL CAPS, THEN USE THE “SHIFT” KEY FOR REGULAR CAPITALIZATION, DOESN’T IT LOOK WEIRD? eVERY SENTENCE SEEMS TO BE MISSING A FIRST LETTER. dOESN’T IT? dOES THIS SEEM IMMORAL TO YOU? iT DOES TO ME.

Anyway, college starts tomorrow, and I seem to be the only one who is really freaked out. Are you freaking out? Is anyone even gonna read this?

But I finally got my dorm room all organized…it’s pretty!

What are you at college for?

Okay, so I’m sitting here in my room, wondering what the majority of students are truly here for. From what I’ve overheard so far by various people, here are the percentages I’ve come up with:

– “Forced to go”: 50%
– Socializing/partying: 30%
– To get away from home: 13%
– Actual learning: 5%
– Other reasons: 2%

Does that add up to 100? I’m too lazy to add it up. Anyway, what are you here for? What are your priorities?

Just wondering.

Ow…

My feet hurt from marching!

Plus, I haven’t had much time to organize my dorm room, so it’s still very messy.

And the floor is disgustingly dirty.

Wooo! Marching!!

I’m loving marching band camp so far!

Today, I had practice from 9-12, from 2-5, and from 7-9. And it rocked. I think this will be my favorite class (though I have to get back into marching mode, considering I haven’t marched since a year ago)!

Wee! There are more than 3 clarinetists!

Dorm room?!?!

Annnd…go!

COLLEGE!

Well, not really. First comes the dorm room and band camp.

So I go to Wallace today, a day early, because I am going to be in marching band this year. I love my room–it’s a lot bigger than I remember it from my tour last April.

I pretty much took all my crap and dumped it in there before I went to our first band camp rehearsal–which was freaky weird!

There were actually several people in each section! Weird weird. And Nikki was there, which was cool–hadn’t seen her since elementary school.

But it was fun. I await more band-related fun tomorrow!

School supplies has been bought, Captain!

Hooray! I now have all my supplies for my dorm/classes/life for the next year! Nervousness ensues. Blogs grow ever shorter.

Nervousness

Now it’s time for freaking out about my two AP test scores, which should be showing up in the mail sometime this week or next. I’m freaking out because I would love to get a 5 on the English one, which would mean I could get out of English 102 and therefore drop my course load by 3 credits (down to 17!).
But I dunno what I got, so I’m freakin’. Oh well.

And the glow sticks are still in the trees!

Major confusion (no pun intended)

Yes, school is out, I’m aware of that, and yes, I’m still posting blogs under the category of “School, College, Greek”.

Geek with no life.

Anyways, I’m once again confused about what field(s) I should major in. I thought I had it narrowed down to psychology and theatre, but there’s so much I want to do–psychology, chemistry, astronomy, quantum physics (yes, quantum physics), art, theatre, music…all sorts of stuff. WTF should I do?!?! So much confusion!

GRADUATION!

I just got home from my graduation today.

It was exciting and very scary. Mr. Kaag spoke, which was cool, and so did Ben. They both rocked. I got a little bronze honor cordy thing, which is kinda disappointing (since I could’ve done better) but oh well.
Mr. Blount told me that I got a 99% in his class–the highest grade in all the periods.
Train o’ Rockin’…aw, screw it. I never have to go through physics again!

Now I never have to see Lead again, the little loser!

Off to the Senior Party!

Stupid physics…(oh, and the last day of school)

I am very disappointed in my Rube Goldberg machine, which conveniently quit working when Mr. Blount came to check it out for a grade. It’s as if it hates me for some reason.

Gr.

But anyways, it is the last day of high school…ever. Kinda sad, kinda scared, kinda excited.
But mostly pissed about physics. It ruined my whole day.

My Rube Goldberg machine is genius!

YAY! I finally finished the construction of my Rube Goldberg machine! Now I shall get extra credit in physics which will guarantee a solid A in the class (and possibly the highest grade in our period!)
It works beautifully…except for the actual cutting part, which I figured wouldn’t matter too much, considering the fact that its working is only 5f our total grade. I rock.

Once again, it’s time to visit the…

Train o’ Rockin’ at Physics!

Soreness, the “flood”, and the Band Awards Night

First point of discussion: I am very sore from bowling at the Senior Sneak. Sad? Yes. Depressing? Yes. A good excuse for not working on my physics tonight? Yes.

Second point of discussion: Our school is obviously not flood-proof. We had some form of five-minute torrential downpour at lunch today and one whole hallway of the school flooded. Plus, when I got to band, half the floor (which is carpet, mind you) was soaking wet. We all had to cram into half of the room, which was a challenge, considering it was mostly full of chairs.

Third point of discussion: The Band Awards were tonight at the Junior High (which luckily wasn’t flooded). These were the thingies I won:
– Future Conductor Award
– Band Geek Award
– Garrett’s (our teacher) Pet Award
– 6 Year Award (only 3 of us got it–in normal years there are like 6 or 7)
– Leadership and Inspiration Award (I had no idea I’d win this one…quite a shock)

We had pizza and it was fun.

Sneak-olium!

Senior Sneak was today, and we went to Triple Play up in Coeur d’Alene (at least I think it was Coeur d’Alene) and it was pretty dern fun!

On the bus down I played Scrabble, cause I’m a geek, and I wrote a cool poem in Paula’s yearbook!
I bowled with Aneel and Paula, and all of us sucked (there wasn’t a score above 70).
After that we did the go-karts. If Dakota wasn’t such a butthead, I would’ve won (or have been close to winning). After that we got in the bumper boats and got Aneel soaking wet! Paula’s boat didn’t steer, and Ben had to rescue her.
Then we actually went in the water, and we hooked up with Tanna and went down these kick-butt slides!! They were so cool! Great fun.

Then we did the go-karts again, and, like before, I would’ve definitely won if Dakota wasn’t a butt. He made me wipe out in the last two laps. I was passing everybody else, probably because I was the only one who knew (or remembered) that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line–everyone else was hugging each curve.

So it was cool. Aneel was on drugs the whole time, and I’m not just talking about Dramamine!

Yearbook!

So we got our yearbook today…good job, E’raina! I liked the little quote you put in there about me and Candida.

I also like your butt. It’s hot.

That’s all I’ve got to say today. The Senior Sneak is tomorrow, so we’ll see what will occur. Hopefully none of the buses will break down.

So much pain…(or, why I should get an A in physics)

I’ve been working on my Rube-Goldberg project for almost 6 hours straight now, and I’m only about 1/2 way through. These are some reasons why I should get an A on this darn thing:

1) I’ve worked for 6 hours straight on this project ON A SUNDAY.
2) I have splinters in my pants.
3) I have about 15 burns all over my hands from that dang hot-glue gun.
4) My thumbs are all bruised up because I have no depth perception with a hammer.
5) The floor in my room is full of debris from this project, and therefore, everywhere I step I either get splinters in my feet, nails in my feet, or wire wrapped around my toes.
6) I had a dream last night about my Rube-Goldberg machine coming to life and destroying itself.

I guess it’s my own fault–when I get into something, I really get into it and begin to be obsessed about it. Oh well. I’ll get extra credit!!
