Oh, Garfield…

Oops, I just rediscovered Garkov, a Markov-chain-based Garfield comic strip generator.

Fantastic.

I’ve also, upon rediscovering Garkov, rediscovered Lasagna Cat. All you need to know about Lasagna Cat can be summed up in three words: live action Garfield.

Oh Internet…

There has been at least one previous blog post in which I’ve mentioned an assortment of Garfield parodies/tributes.

Well here’s another one. Garkov uses a Markov model to take transcripts of old Garfield strips and rearranges it to make new strips.

Some of them that you get are freaking great.

There’s also a list of other Garfield fun on the internet at the bottom of the page.

Awesome.

Vroomtacular

I wonder how aware Jim Davis is of the multitude of Garfield parody sites there are in the vast expanse of the internet?

Among many others.
The Square Root of Minus Garfield (the last one listed) is particularly fantastic. It’s like xkcd meets Garfield Minus Garfield.

Woo!

Jim Davis called, he wants his dignity back

Okay, it might be the complete lack of sleep talking, but this is one of the most entertaining things I’ve found on the internet in awhile:

A few of the completely randomized ones were absolutely hilarious. Here are a few that I made, just ‘cause. Next step: Haikus.

And now that I’ve laughed inappropriately hard for about half an hour, I’m going to try to sleep. Maybe.

Hahahaha, oh man, these are GREAT.
