BURN IT DOWN

British Columbia is ON FIRE!

Spokane is ON FIRE!

But let’s pretend they’re not and check out the fact that I walked/ran the distance of the Appalachian Trail.

(It’s a lie, I earned this on the 19th, but didn’t sync until the 20th.)

I hope you’re ready

Are you ready? You’d better start getting ready.

It’s 93 degrees here today. That’s going to be the future.
Hell, that’s probably going to be a good day in the future.

We’re fucked.

Claudia vs. Forest Fire Smoke

Forest fire smoke doesn’t seem to bother me.

Smoke in general doesn’t seem to bother me.

We’ve had some pretty intense smoke up here so far this summer and I don’t feel like it gets to me at all.

My eyes don’t burn, my breathing doesn’t feel more labored, my throat doesn’t hurt, I don’t cough/sneeze more, I don’t get headaches or migraines.

I don’t know if it’s all psychological because I can’t smell it, but I never feel like it bothers me. Of course, I know the negative effects of the smoke will be there regardless of if I “feel” the smoke or not, but it just never bothers me.

So yeah.

So Alberta is on fire

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT’S FIRE SEASON!

I already hate summer and it’s the beginning of May.

Welcome to hell!
