They need an “I’m forming an ulcer right now” mood
Hooray for a 4.0! Thank god I got an A in math…just…thank god. Now it’s time to start stressing about next semester…
…notice how short these’ve gotten over the past week?
You know those finals that never happened? Yeah, well they’re over now.
I really, really, really, really, really hope that I missed less than six questions on my math final and less than 18 on my psychology final.
Please, please, pleeeeease…
Damn math…
YES!!! I’m not wait listed for Creative Fiction anymore! LIFE IS GOOD!
…well…it will be once finals are over…
(math does this to me)
…and I know I got a 4.0.
Okaythatsallbye.
Sequel to
It’s time for summer school plan time now! These are the classes I want to take:
English 208 (cause I couldn’t fit it into my schedule this semester)
Some Shakespeare class that I can’t remember the number to (cause I need a Shakespeare class for the English major)
Computer Science 101 (to get it the hell over with)
Too much in four weeks during summer? NEVER! I am Jesus!
Aw crap…
As I’m signing up for classes, I realize that I’m technically a sophomore due to my credits. Therefore, I could’ve signed up yesterday and probably would have gotten into all the classes I wanted.
Piss.
KABOOM!
Okay…this is my tentative schedule for next semester (very tentative. It shouldn’t even freakin’ be):
MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY
1. Statistics 251: 8:30-9:20
2. Biology 201: 9:30-10:20
3. English 292 (Creative Writing: Fiction): 10:30-11:20
4. English 208 (Personal and Exploratory Writing): 11:30-12:20
5. Psychology 111 (Abnormal Psych): 12:30-1:20
6. Core 166 (Sacred Journey): 1:30-2:20
This is subject to change. And it will…just watch.
“Quotes”
Ahahahaha! So today in Core class, before class actually started, there were these girls in the back talking about music and stuff, and they got on the subject of the Pussycat Dolls. One of them says something to the effect of, “I don’t see what’s so great about them–it takes like twelve of them to say ‘don’t cha'”. This is the best quote I’ve heard in awhile–made me laugh. Here are a few more:
“You know you’re a good liar if you can pass a pregnancy test and you’re a guy.”
“I’d kick him now that he’s on the ground, but I think that’s kind of overdoing it, seeing how as I’m the one who cut his legs off and made it so that he’d have to use a wheelchair and then pushed him out of the wheelchair.”
“A person can be quizzical. Why can’t they be testicle?” I actually think this was me.
“Have some of my prostitute, I implore you!”
“Bullshitting is an art–it’s a skill. But some things you really shouldn’t B.S. your way through, like med school or the birth canal.” (WTF?)
“Jesus tap-dancing Christ!” I think this was me again.
Hooray!
I love my dorm room. That’s all I have to say.
Oy! Math!
Today’s schedule is the same as Monday’s, except add in Math 143 from 11:30AM-12:20PM. I really have to get my butt moving to make it to the Kibbie Dome. Plus it’s math. Bleh.
Also, why don’t people wear color around here? Everything’s jeans, jeans, jeans! They’re not THAT comfortable. And shirts with brand names scrawled across the front! INDIVIDUALITY, people! You are not a billboard (or…are you? That would explain that board-like shape…).
Okay, I’m done.
Welcome to college. Now don’t screw up (part 2)
Day 2! Tuesday’s and Thursday’s schedules:
~ Theatre 100 (11:00AM-12:20PM)
~ Marching Band (12:30PM-1:20PM)
~ English 102 (2:00PM-3:15PM)
I like this schedule. Theatre is fun, MB is fun, and English rocks the socks right off of a fox.
Tomorrow’s my busy day, though. With math. Evil, evil math.
Welcome to college. Now don’t screw up.
Day 1! Here’s my schedule for today:
~ Psychology 101 (10:30AM-11:20AM)
~ Marching Band (12:30PM-1:20PM)
~ The Sacred Journey (1:30PM-2:20PM)
~ Theatre 105 (3:00PM-4:20PM)
Four classes…not too bad. I’m going to love psychology and marching band and theatre…I’ll try to get through TSJ…I just don’t find religion all that interesting…
Oh well. More psychology credits!
Last day of summer (sorta)
Why, hello!
iF YOU TYPE LIKE THIS, IN ALL CAPS, THEN USE THE “SHIFT” KEY FOR REGULAR CAPITALIZATION, DOESN’T IT LOOK WEIRD? eVERY SENTENCE SEEMS TO BE MISSING A FIRST LETTER. dOESN’T IT? dOES THIS SEEM IMMORAL TO YOU? iT DOES TO ME.
Anyway, college starts tomorrow, and I seem to be the only one who is really freaked out. Are you freaking out? Is anyone even gonna read this?
But I finally got my dorm room all organized…it’s pretty!
What are you at college for?
Okay, so I’m sitting here in my room, wondering what the majority of students are truly here for. From what I’ve overheard so far by various people, here are the percentages I’ve come up with:
– “Forced to go”: 50%
– Socializing/partying: 30%
– To get away from home: 13%
– Actual learning: 5%
– Other reasons: 2%
Does that add up to 100? I’m too lazy to add it up. Anyway, what are you here for? What are your priorities?
Just wondering.
Dorm room?!?!
Annnd…go!
COLLEGE!
Well, not really. First comes the dorm room and band camp.
So I go to Wallace today, a day early, because I am going to be in marching band this year. I love my room–it’s a lot bigger than I remember it from my tour last April.
I pretty much took all my crap and dumped it in there before I went to our first band camp rehearsal–which was freaky weird!
There were actually several people in each section! Weird weird. And Nikki was there, which was cool–hadn’t seen her since elementary school.
But it was fun. I await more band-related fun tomorrow!
School supplies has been bought, Captain!
Hooray! I now have all my supplies for my dorm/classes/life for the next year! Nervousness ensues. Blogs grow ever shorter.
Major confusion (no pun intended)
Yes, school is out, I’m aware of that, and yes, I’m still posting blogs under the category of “School, College, Greek”.
Geek with no life.
Anyways, I’m once again confused about what field(s) I should major in. I thought I had it narrowed down to psychology and theatre, but there’s so much I want to do–psychology, chemistry, astronomy, quantum physics (yes, quantum physics), art, theatre, music…all sorts of stuff. WTF should I do?!?! So much confusion!
