Mount St. Helens


Today is the 40th anniversary of the famous Mount St. Helens eruption that covered a good section of the Pacific Northwest in some degree of ash (according to Wiki, 11 states and two Canadian provinces got ashed).

I wasn’t alive yet, but my dad was in Moscow starting his job at the U of I and he remembers how crazy it all was with the ash that Moscow got.
