The first time I heard that alarm up here it SCARED THE LIVING HELL OUT OF ME. It didn’t help that I had my phone’s ringer at full volume.

But I’m used to it now. Also, 99% of the time it’s an Amber Alert and not a “HERE COMES A TORNADO YOU UNPREPARED LOSERS” sort of thing.
