So I’ve come across this Twitter account called ArtButMakeItSports. The guy who runs it finds photos of various sporting events and compares them to artworks that have similar compositions, vibes, and/or colors.

Today’s example:

The best thing is that he claims he doesn’t use AI to do the photo/art comparisons, which is fantastic. He’s got several breakdowns of his process on his website, too. Example.

Some of his “best of” comparisons look like they were just made for each other (all pics from his website).
