The Getting to Know You Questions

1. Would you prefer to be smart or happy, and why?
Smart. I’m already an incredibly unhappy human being, so why not go all out with the smarts?

2. If you could choose one superpower, what would it be and why?
If we’re talking a practical superpower (one that would actually be super beneficial in real life), I’d love to be able to teleport (assuming my clothes/anything I’m touching can come with me). Do you know how freaking convenient that would be? I could walk/run ANYWHERE and be able to be home or at work INSTANTLY. Life would be grand.

3. What is your biggest regret in life so far?
Existing.

4. If you could marry a fictional character, who would it be and why?
Phileas Fogg is great. Kinda dig Jay Gatsby, too.

5. If money and career were no object, where in the world would you choose to live?
Peh. Don’t care.

6. What’s the last book you read that you simply could not put down until you finished?
Lonesome Dove was absolutely fantastic. Loved it.

7. What television show do you plan your day around in order to see it live?
I don’t watch anything live. Nate and I plan our evenings around baseball during the season, though.

8. What extracurricular activities or sports did you participate in when you were in high school?
No sports unless you count band (we marched sometimes). I was in the all-school drama productions a few times.

9. Of all your pet-peeves, which is the strangest?
APPARENTLY it’s weird to be incredibly peeved by people who can’t follow the convention of walking on the right side of the sidewalk. I hate that so much I can FEEL THE RAGE AND I’M JUST TYPING ABOUT IT

10. Is it better to beg forgiveness or ask permission?
Ask permission.

11. If you inherited or won a million dollars, what would you do with it?
I’d still be sad no matter what, so I don’t really care.

12. What is the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you?
HAHAHA BITCH I HAVE SO MANY STORIES

15. Do you believe it is vital to everyday life to know what is happening in the world around you?
To an extent, but there’s only so much one can know about in the world on a given day.

18. Would you rather live in a large house in the suburbs, or a tiny apartment in the city with an excellent view?
Tiny city apartment.

19. What are your three weaknesses?
My anger issues. How annoying I am. How worthless I am.

20. How would you describe yourself in three words?
It’s all garbage.

21. Which is more logical to follow—your heart or your head?
Head.

22. Are you spiritual or religious in any way? If so, how?
Nope.

23. If you could have any career possible, what would it be?
I’m cool with my current career, thanks.

24. Have you ever been arrested or contracted any diseases?
These are…these are very different things.

25. Which is better—a novel or a movie?
Novel, though I’m into watching the movie/miniseries adaptation of books that I really like now.
